Agrément granted to the Ambassador of Brazil to the Republic of Malawi

The Brazilian Government is pleased to inform that the Government of the the Republic of Malawi has granted its agrément to the appointment of Artur José Saraiva de Oliveira as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to that country. According to the Brazilian constitution, the appointment must still be confirmed by the Federal Senate.
Artur José Saraiva de Oliveira is the Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., in the Republic of Malawi. He has previously served as Chargé d’Affaires in Togo and Burkina Faso and has been posted at the Embassies of Brazil in La Paz and Asunción and at the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami. In Brazil, he has headed the Division of Africa I.
