Agrément granted to the Ambassador-designate of Brazil to Venezuela

The Brazilian government is pleased to inform that the government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has granted its agrément to Ambassador  Glivânia Maria de Oliveira as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to that country.

Glivânia Maria de Oliveira is the current Director-General of the Rio Branco Institute. She has also served as Consul-General in Boston (2015-2018), Ambassador to Panama (2018-2022) and Representative of Brazil as guarantor country at the Peace Dialogue Table between the the government of Colombia and the National Liberation Army (2023).

In accordance with the Constitution, this designation will be submitted to the Federal Senate for consideration.
