Agrément granted to Ambassador-designate of Brazil to Qatar

The Brazilian Government is pleased to inform that the Government of the State of Qatar has granted its agrément to the appointment of Ambassador Marcelo Otávio Dantas Loures da Costa as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil.

Currently Consul General in Los Angeles, Marcelo Otávio Dantas Loures da Costa was Minister Counselor at the Permanent Delegation of Brazil to UNESCO (2012 - 2017).

According to the Constitution, this designation will be submitted to the Federal Senate for consideration.
