Agrément granted to Ambassador-designate of Brazil to the Philippines

The Brazilian Government is pleased to inform that the Government of the Philippines has granted its agrément to the appointment of Ambassador Gilberto Fonseca Guimarães de Moura as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil.

Currently Coordinator of the Working Group on Diplomat Career Flow (2022) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gilberto Fonseca Guimarães de Moura served as Consul General in Shanghai (2018-2022), Ambassador of Brazil to Thailand (2014-2017) and Slovenia (2012-2014).

According to the Constitution, this designation will be submitted to the Federal Senate for consideration.
