Agrément granted to Ambassador-designate of Brazil in Italy

The Brazilian government is pleased to inform that the government of the Italian Republic has granted agrément to Ambassador Renato Mosca de Souza as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil in that country. Cumulatively, he will exercise the function of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to the Republic of Malta and the Republic of San Marino.

Currently Consul General in Vancouver, Renato Mosca de Souza was Ambassador of Brazil to Slovenia (2017-2021) and head of the Ceremonial of the Presidency of the Republic (2011-2016).

According to the Constitution, the designation will be submitted to the Federal Senate for consideration.
