Abrogation of rights of the Governor of Miranda (Venezuela)

The Brazilian Government regrets the decision of the Comptroller General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to deprive the Governor of the State of Miranda, Henrique Capriles, of the right to exercise public functions for a period of 15 years. This is another serious violation by the Venezuelan authorities of the fundamental freedoms and guarantees.
