Rodriguésia publishes special volume with studies presented at the 7th Fluminense Symposium on Natural Products
The special issue of Rodriguésia magazine featuring articles from the 7th Fluminense Symposium on Natural Products: Conservation, Sustainability, and Innovation is now available on Scielo. The symposium was held from October 29 to 31, 2024.
The volume brings together 15 peer-reviewed articles on topics presented at the symposium, such as the anatomy and taxonomy of medicinal plants, the chemistry of natural products, the pharmacology of natural products, the synthesis of bioactive compounds, the pharmaceutical technology of natural products, chemiodiversity, chemophenetics, and ethnopharmacology, among others.
The guest editors—Drs. Davyson Moreira (JBRJ), Leilson de Oliveira Ribeiro (INT), and Ygor Jesse Ramos (UERJ/UFBA)—emphasize that the publication “is proof of the vitality and creativity of the scientific community dedicated to natural products and an invitation for new collaborations and ideas to flourish from this important meeting.”
