The Barbosa Rodrigues Library has 109 thousand volumes, including specialized books, reference works, dissertations, theses, periodicals and a collection of 4 thousand volumes of rare works.
The Library has exchanges with more than 650 national and foreign institutions and also collects, selects and organizes specific collections from national and foreign botanical gardens.
