Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden publishes public tender notices
On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the Federal Official Gazette published the notices of competition for higher education positions - Analyst, Technologist and Researcher in Science and Technology careers at the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden Research Institute. Registration will begin on October 21, 2024.
Notice no. 1/2024 provides for a competitive examination for the positions of Adjunct Researcher I (5 vacancies) and Full Technologist II (2 vacancies). Candidates must have a university degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Biology, Ecology or related areas and a PhD in Botany, Plant Biology, Ecology, Conservation Biology or related areas with a duly registered diploma provided by a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC).
The basic salary for these positions is R$6,710.29. With the addition of additional qualifications and a performance bonus, the salary can reach R$13,843.00.
Registration runs from October 21 to November 21, 2024. All stages of the exams will be held between January 26 and February 8, 2025.
Notice no. 2/2024 provides for a competitive examination for the positions of Junior Analyst I (11 vacancies) and Junior Technologist I (2 vacancies), which require a full degree and the profiles specified in Annex II of the Notice.
The basic salary for these positions is R$5,211.48. With a performance bonus and depending on additional qualifications, the salary can reach R$10,823.89.
The registration period runs from 9 a.m. on October 21, 2024 until 11:59 p.m. on November 20, 2024. The objective and discursive tests will be held on December 15, 2024.
In both competitions, 5% (five percent) of the vacancies will be reserved for People with Disabilities (PwD), provided in accordance with § 2 of article 5 of Federal Law No. 8.112, of December 11, 1990, and § 1 of article 1 of Federal Decree No. 9.508, of September 24, 2018, as amended, and 20% (twenty percent) for candidates who apply for the quota for blacks (black or brown), based on art. 1 of Federal Law No. 12.990, of June 9, 2014. The quota places will be distributed by Profiles according to a draw, as established in JBRJ Ordinance No. 24 of October 14, 2024
The Internal Competitions Committee (CIC) of the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden Research Institute (JBRJ) supervises the competitions, which are organized and operated by the Institute for Development and Training (IDCAP).
The registration period runs from October 21, 2024 until 11:59 p.m. on November 21, 2024. Applications must be made on the IDCAP website at www.idcap.org.br. Candidates must log in and register a password to access the application form in the candidate area.
