Public Consultation on the Open Data Plan for the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden - Get involved!

The Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden Research Institute (JBRJ) is reviewing its Open Data Plan for the period 2025-2026 and, to this end, is launching a Public Consultation on August 25, 2025, to better define priorities regarding the opening of institutional data.

Since 2005, the JBRJ has had a tradition of publishing biodiversity data openly and free of charge, making it available for use by other systems and databases. The Public Consultation aims to find out which databases citizens would like to suggest for prioritization for publication in open format.
