French researchers will give lectures at the Rio Botanical Garden this Friday
This Friday (August 28), the Rio Botanical Garden will host two visiting foreign researchers who will give lectures. At 2:00 p.m., researcher Maxime Rome, from the Muséum National d’histoire Naturelle (Paris), will deliver a lecture titled “The genus Passiflora: an emerging liana model for the Neotropics.”
Following that, at 3:00 p.m., Professor François Munoz, from Université Lyon 1, will address the topic “An eco-evolutionary approach to characterize the impact of environmental fluctuations on biodiversity.”
The presentations will be in English and will take place in the Multipurpose Room of the Botanical Garden Museum. Students and researchers from outside the JBRJ are also welcome to attend. Registration must be done via email at domingoscardoso@jbrj.gov.br.
