Event on knowledge, conservation, and sustainable use of Amazonian flora will bring together researchers, institutions, and projects on November 10

“Unveiling the Flora of the Amazon: science and collaboration for new opportunities” is the theme of the event to be held on November 10, 2025, at the Botanical Garden Museum. The goal is to promote integration among researchers, institutions, and projects focused on knowledge, conservation, and sustainable use of Amazonian flora.

The organizers are the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden Research Institute (JBRJ) and the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio), through researchers Domingos Cardoso and Rafaela Campostrini Forzza, and the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG).
