Eliane and Fabiano Salek present the show "Mulher brasileira" at Domingo no Jardim

Singer-songwriter Eliane Salek performs on July 14 at Domingo no Jardim, accompanied by percussionist, singer and songwriter Fabiano Salek. The duo will perform works from the album "Mulher brasileira", a compilation of singles released between 2019 and 2023 with the Eliane Salek Trio, as well as their own works, such as the most recent, Baião pro Leo. The repertoire includes bossa nova, samba, baião and choro, always framed by touches of jazz and classical music.

With a Master's degree in Music, Eliane Salek spent 19 years as a choir singer and soloist at the Teatro Municipal do Rio. As a pianist and flutist, she has performed in countless concerts and recordings with great MPB artists such as Roberto Menescal, Toquinho, Sivuca, Zeca Pagodinho, Paulinho da Viola, Elizeth Cardoso, Alaíde Costa, Ademilde Fonseca, Rosinha de Valença, Elba Ramalho and others. He has taken Brazilian music to Paris, Lyon, Rome, Berlin and Hilden (Hildennerjazztag Festival), in prestigious venues such as Péristyle de l'Opéra de Lyon, Radiofréquence Jazz, broadcast on TV France 3 and Conservatoire National de Région de Lyon.

The performance takes place in front of the bust of Dom João, in the arboretum, at 11 a.m. The performance is free of charge. Visitors only pay the entrance ticket to the arboretum. In the case of rain, the performance will be moved to the Galpão das Artes.
