“Voices singing of trees and flowers” on Sunday in the Garden
“Vozes cantando árvores e flores” (Voices singing trees and flowers) is the show to be presented by the female vocal group AgoraVaz on Sunday in the Garden, on the 6th. The repertoire includes Brazilian music from various eras and genres, such as “Paula e Bebeto” (Milton Nascimento), “Baila comigo” (Rita Lee), “Anos dourados” (Chico Buarque/Tom Jobim), “Daquele amor, nem me falar” (João Donato/Martinho da Vila), among other compositions. The arrangements are by musical director Celia Vaz.
The performance will take place at 11am, in front of the bust of Dom João, and is free of charge. In the event of rain, it will be moved to the Galpão das Artes.
