International Relations on the Agenda

This interview program, conducted in 2016, sought to introduce students, researchers, professors, and the broader public interested in international relations and Brazilian foreign policy to the agenda and internal structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty). 

The interviewer, Ambassador Alessandro Candeas, welcomed diplomats who at the time served as undersecretaries and department heads at Itamaraty, as well as Brazilian and foreign academics. The interview themes covered Brazilian foreign policy, diplomatic history, and international relations. 

A total of 34 interviews were conducted from April to December 2016 in the Paulo Nogueira Batista Auditorium in Brasília.
