CADE is finalist in international award
The Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) is one of the finalists for the 2026 Antitrust Writing Awards, a traditional ceremony organised by the law journal Concurrences, which highlights the best publications about Competition Law worldwide. The 2025 version of CADE’s Antitrust Leniency Programme Guidelines was nominated in the Soft Law - Americas category, reaffirming the leading role of the agency in producing modern and transparent instruments that are aligned with best international practices in competition policy.
In addition to an evaluation by a specialised jury, the award also includes public voting, which makes the participation of the legal, academic, and institutional communities even more relevant.
Furthermore, the nomination is a recognition of the technical quality and impact of the Leniency Guidelines in combating anticompetitive conducts.
The award's official website features the finalists, and allows the public to vote until 3 March. The result will be announced on 24 March during an official ceremony in Washington, D.C.
