Waldir Alves is a District Attorney of the South of Brazil, and a substitute member of the Brazilian Prosecution Services’ Collegial Body on Consumer and Economic Order. Mr Alves holds a PhD in public law and legal theory from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He is postgraduate in tax law from the University of Blumenau (FURB). He is a professor at the Higher School of the Public Prosecution Service (ESMPU) and acts as a visiting professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) as a law specialist.
