An Open Acreage of Production Sharing cycle consists of all the activities required to hold the public session for the presentation of offers for one or more blocks that are the subject of a declaration of interest accompanied by a bid guarantee and includes the qualification of the winning bidders of the public session, the awarding of the object of the cycle's bid, the approval of the cycle's bid and the signing of the production sharing agreements, as per item 1.29 of the current Tender Protocol.
The cycles begin with the publication of their schedule, upon approval by the Bidding Round Special Commission (CEL) of one or more declarations of interest accompanied by bid guarantees as provided for in items 1.25 and 1.30 of the Tender Protocol.
As decided at the 6th Extraordinary Meeting of the Bidding Round Special Commission for the Open Acreage of Production Sharing (CEL OPP), the 3rd Cycle of the Open Acreage of Production Sharing was opened and its indicative schedule was published in the D.O.U. on June 17, 2025.
