Journal of Competition Defense welcomes articles until 31 January

It is open until 31 January the call for the submission of scientific articles for the first edition of the Journal of Competition Defense in 2018, which will be released on May. The publication is edited by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense – CADE and aims to foster the development of the academic production on competition defense and disseminating the knowledge about the subject.

The articles must be submitted in Portuguese, English, French or Spanish, exclusively through the journal’s website. They will be previously assessed by the Journal’s editorial team, which will verify if the content meets the main proposal of the publication and if the format fits the required technical standards. The ones deemed not suitable will be returned to the authors, who will have the possibility to submit them in the next edition.

External specialized reviewers will evaluate the articles approved in the first stage. These professionals will recommend the acceptance with or without reservations or the non-acceptance of the paper. Both the submission and the evaluation proceedings are done electronically and without the identification of the authors (blind review).

The criteria to be observed by the reviewers are the contribution for the scientific knowledge, consistency of the presented results and innovative character of the paper. The article must be unprecedented and must not be under the assessment for publication in another Journal. Besides that, the authors should follow the orientations, such as methodological guidelines, available on the journal’s site.
