III Workshop on Competition Enforcement and International Cooperation

CADE and the European Commission’s DG Competition would like to invite representatives from European competition authorities to apply for participation in the III Workshop on Competition Enforcement and International Cooperation, to take place in Brasilia, Brazil, on 14-16 October 2015. The discussions will focus on merger control and international cooperation in merger control, as well as contemporary issues in antitrust enforcement. 

This third edition of the Workshop follows two successful editions, also sponsored by the European Union-Brazil Sector Dialogues Project. CADE will host 9 officials from different national competition authorities of EU Member states for a three-day workshop. The Sector Dialogues Project will cover transport and accommodation expenses for the participants.

Participants will be jointly selected by CADE and DG Competition. In the selection process, country diversity and cooperation ties will be taken into consideration. Applications from countries which have not participated in previous edition will also be taken into special consideration.
