CADE’s Internal Affairs Office achieves Level 2 of Corrective Maturity
The Internal Affairs Office of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) achieved Level 2 in the Corrective Maturity Model (CRG-MM), which recognises the standardisation and institutionalisation of the processes carried out by the Office.
This accomplishment is the result of efforts to organise the unit’s functions, which include developing its statutes, standardising workflows and procedures, establishing criteria for prioritising cases, as well as strengthening internal controls.
About the CRG-MM
The Corrective Maturity Model is a self-assessment tool created by the Office of the Comptroller General of Brazil (CGU) to measure the extent to which the internal affairs offices of government bodies are structured and mature in their operations. It is divided into five levels, ranging from Level 1 (for activities that are not yet structured) to the most advanced levels, where processes are standardised, integrated, and results-oriented.
For CADE’s Internal Affairs Office, the result represents an important milestone in the development of the agency’s internal management. This progress reflects the unit’s commitment to an increasingly structured, organised, and consistent approach, capable of providing greater predictability in its processes and outcomes.
