CADE’s guide nominated for the Antitrust Writing Awards 2024

The Guide for Cartel Penalties, published by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), is one of the finalists in the Best Soft Law & Studies selection, Americas, in the Antitrust Writing Awards 2024. CADE’s guide is in the same selection as authorities from Dominican Republic, Peru, Mexico, Canada, and the United States. Voting is open until 5 April.

The award, promoted by the French law journal “Concurrences”, highlights the most innovative initiatives in several categories linked to competition advocacy and antitrust law compliance. The Best Soft Law & Studies category provides access to best practices and tools used by the competition authorities around the world.

Published in 2023, the guide provides greater knowledge of the penalties imposed by the Brazilian antitrust authority in cartel cases.

Winners will be announced at the Antitrust Writing Awards Ceremony, which will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, on the eve of the ABA Antitrust Spring Meeting, in Washington, D.C.
