CADE will host 10th edition of BRICS International Competition Conference

Event gathers antitrust authorities of the five countries to discuss main topics in competition

In 2027, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) will host the 10th edition of the BRICS International Competition Conference (BRICS ICC) in the capital of Brazil, Brasília. The announcement was made on 10 and 11 September, during the 9th edition, in Cape Town.

BRICS ICC is held biennially, and gathers antitrust authorities from Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa with the aim of discussing strategic matters on competition, as well as global challenges in the economic field.

CADE’s nomination as a host marks a new international recognition of the work carried out by the agency and reinforces its role in the antitrust agenda.
