CADE welcomes articles for the second edition of 2015 of the Journal of Competition Defense

The Administrative Council for Economic Defense – CADE is welcoming articles for the second edition of 2015 of its Journal of Competition Defense. The papers must be submitted until 31 August 2015 through the website www.cade.gov.br/revista.

The articles must be submitted in Portuguese, English, French or Spanish. They will be previously assessed by the Journal’s editorial team, which will verify if the content meets the main proposal of the publication, and if the format meets the required technical standards. The ones deemed not suitable will be returned to the authors, who will have the possibility to submit them in the next edition.

The articles approved in this first stage will be evaluated by external specialized reviewers. These professionals will recommend the acceptance with or without restrictions or the non-acceptance of the paper. The submission and evaluation proceedings are done electronically and without the identification of the authors (blind review).

The Journal of Competition Defense is edited biannually by CADE and aims at contributing to increasing the academic production on competition defense and at disseminating the knowledge about the subject.

The first edition of 2015 is already available in the Journal’s website. Nine articles were distributed in four sections, which present discussions on subjects such as merger and anticompetitive conducts control, and issues related to specific economic sectors.
