In the hearing of this Wednesday (7 October), the Tribunal of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) decided to review the proposal of joint venture between Delta Air Lines and Latam Airline Group.
As of the transaction, the companies will make a strategic partnership of their air transport services involving the United States and Canada on the one hand, and Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay on the other.
The Tribunal unanimously approved the request order and, subsequently, the proceedings were assigned to the commissioner Luis Brado, who will serve as the case’s rapporteur.
