CADE promotes Competition Observatory on antitrust analysis

On 18 June, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) is promoting a new edition of the Competition Observatory, which will discuss the analysis of alleged anticompetitive conducts. The event will be held at the Tribunal of CADE, at 2:30 PM (local time), and there will also be a live broadcast via Zoom.

The Competition Observatory is organised by the Department of Economic Studies of CADE (DEE) as part of a staff training cycle on antitrust analysis, and its main aim is to improve the civil servants’ knowledge about the Brazilian agency and other regulatory bodies regarding antitrust analysis of anticompetitive conducts, in addition to facilitating cooperation among these entities.

Applications can be submitted until 17 June. The event is restricted to civil servants of regulatory bodies and the registration must be made with an institutional e-mail.
