CADE MAKES THE FINAL SHORTLIST OF GCR AWARDS 2022

We are glad to announce that CADE has made the final shortlist of the GCR Awards 2022. Voting goes until 8am GMT on 14 February, and the winners will be announced at GCR’s 12th Annual Awards Ceremony on 5 April in Washington, DC.

Employees of law firms, economic consultancies, government agencies, universities and competition advocacy organisations can vote using their professional e-mail addresses.

CADE is running for the prize in four categories. Below you can see the categories and read the GCR nomination texts.

- Enforcement Awards - Government agency of the year: A competition enforcer anywhere in the world whose work in 2021 was particularly effective, strategic or innovative.

Brazil’s Administrative Council for Economic Defence

- Enforcement Awards - Enforcement action of the year: The best decision or enforcement action from a competition authority or court in 2021.

CADE’s investigation into the exchange of sensitive HR information

- Team Awards - Behavioural matter of the year – Americas: Creative, strategic and innovative work carried out in a non-merger matter before an enforcer in the Americas.

CADE’s human resources cartel investigation

-Team Awards - Merger control matter of the year – Americas: Creative, strategic and innovative competition work for a client on a landmark merger control matter in the Americas.
