CADE launches new functionalities for digital services
On 26 November, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) announced new features aimed at modernising its digital services, reinforcing the agency's commitment to efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement users experience. New functionalities include the Digital Notification System, as well as the new version of the system for issuing the Brazilian Federal Revenue Collection Slips (GRU), which has been updated to match the Gov.br portal standard.
The Digital Notification System is a module integrated into SEI platform, that allows greater agility and control over notification compliance. This new feature modernises and improves the control of notifications issued by CADE, replacing existing protocols with a more secure and auditable solution, thereby reducing operational costs to make administrative procedures quicker. In addition, the initiative reinforces the alignment with the best public administration practices. Scheduled for 2026, the service is set to be expanded by implementing the Electronic Notification and Power of Attorney Control System.
Meanwhile, the new version of the system for issuing the GRU is now aligned with the layout design, as well as the accessibility guidelines of the Gov.br website, making the service more intuitive and inclusive. The system allows payment of procedural fees at any Brazilian bank or via online banking, ensuring faster clearing and facilitating compliance with obligations to the agency.
Digital transformation at CADE
The functionalities launched are part of CADE's digital transformation plan, which aims to modernise internal workflows, improve digital services, and increase transparency.
The objectives already achieved under the plan are the Push by the CNAE tool, which allows users to receive automatic notifications about procedural developments related to specific economic activities, the Business Intelligence (BI) panel of the Circuito Deliberativo Virtual system, enabling to monitor the decisions by the Tribunal of CADE, as well as the acquisition of new firewall equipment to strengthen the security of the agency's IT systems.
Another important release is the third version of the Case Law Search Tool, which includes advances in machine learning and artificial intelligence features, and automatic document indexing.
