CADE hosts seminar on merger notifications

On 31 March, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) will host the Seminário do Cade: Notificação sobre Atos de Concentração (CADE Seminar: Merger Notifications), which will be held at CADE, in Brasilia, and livestreamed on the agency’s YouTube channel.

The initiative aims to promote technical dialogue between experts and authorities on the notification of asset acquisitions, focusing on related competition criteria. Some of the topics addressed are real estate development, the concept of control, and investment funds.

In addition, the event will feature the participation of external experts and authorities, as well as CADE’s representatives. The public can attend the seminar in person upon prior registration. Sign up here.
