CADE hosts debate on women’s rights
On 20 March, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) will host a debate on rights, challenges, and achievements of women throughout history. The event will be held at CADE, in the city of Brasilia, and livestreamed at the agency’s YouTube channel.
Mrs Ana Paula Lopes Guedes Teixeira, head of the Communications Unit at CADE, will moderate the conversation featuring women who stand out in their fields, and have aimed to share experiences and thoughts on gender equality. Participants:

🔸 Camila Cabral Pires Alves – commissioner at CADE
🔸Camila Gomes Peres – deputy attorney general at CAPES
🔸Mayra Cotta – lawyer specialising in gender, author, and founding partner of Veredas – Human Rights Strategies.
The initiative is part of CADE's institutional activities to mark the International Women's Day, celebrated on 8 March, reinforcing the authority's commitment to promote equality, and valuing women’s role in society.
The event is open to the public. Applications to attend the debate in-person are open until 12:00 of 19 March, via link.
