National Archives of Brazil approves Cade's document management tools
The Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) recently had two document management tools approved by the National Archives of Brazil. The decision was published in the Official Gazette of Brazil and indicates that they were technically validated and comply with current legislation and national guidelines. Therefore, they are officially authorised for institutional use.
The Document Classification Number (CCD) is a system that organises documents by subject, while the Record Retention Schedule (TTDD) defines how long a document should be kept and what its final destination will be, whether disposal or permanent storage.
The Brazilian National Archives is a government agency, linked to the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services, responsible for the management, preservation, and access to federal government documents.
