CADE issues 2023 Integrated Management Report

The Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) issued its management integrated report for the year of 2023. The document presents the outcomes produced by the authority in the previous year as a means of accountability to society, reflecting CADE’s mission to ensure a healthy competitive environment in Brazil. 

The publication comprises four sections: Organisational overview and external environment; governance, risks, and integrity; management results and performance; and management efficiency. 

The report includes information on planning, strategic objectives, the authority's participation in international forums, information channels, data on prevention and advocacy initiatives, cooperation and interaction with other competition authorities, among other matters relating to the services provided to society. 

Mr Alexandre Cordeiro, president of CADE, emphasised the relevance of the agency to society and the continuous improvement of its work on behalf of society. "In terms of governance, CADE has sought to improve controls and systematic monitoring of risks, as well as to promote a culture of governance based on high standards of ethics and conduct," he said.

With the publication of the 2023 Integrated Management Report, CADE reaffirms its commitment to transparency, meeting the information needs of citizens, users of public services, and other parties interested in the agency's activities.
