“CADE Digital” app is launched
On 11 December, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) launched the “CADE Digital”, a new official application developed to bring together the main services, systems, publications, and institutional content related to competition policy in Brazil in a single environment. The initiative is part of CADE's Digital Transformation Plan, which modernises internal processes, increases administrative efficiency, and improves the services provided to citizens.
The app is available for Android and iOS operating systems, providing convenience, security, and quick access to essential information on the agency's activities. In addition, it allows users to consult case law, decisions, official publications, SEI documents, as well as other essential content for lawyers, economic agents, researchers, and other interested parties.
According to Gustavo Augusto, President of CADE, the application expands access to public information. “CADE Digital embodies our commitment to modernisation and transparency. By bringing together the agency’s main services and databases in a single app, we are strengthening our relationship with citizens, companies, and institutions, making competition policy even more accessible and efficient," he concluded.
Vinicius Eloy, Coordinator General of the IT Unit at CADE, highlights that the app represents a step forward in the agency's digitalisation strategy. “The app is a milestone for CADE’s digital transformation. We are working to offer an intuitive and secure platform that facilitates daily interactions with CADE, expanding the reach of our digital operations.”
The “CADE Digital” app brings together some features such as case law searches, with access to the Tribunal’s decisions and documents, and external access to the SEI platform, allowing users to track cases and view trial information, including schedules, live streaming, as well as requests for oral statements.
Furthermore, the app also provides access to the Brazilian Official Gazette, institutional publications, regulations and legislations, as well as content to promote competition culture. Among the services available are the GRU system, CADE’s complaint channel (Clique Denúncia), the leniency agreement proposal tool (Clique Leniência), Contact Us, Service Charter, and the Brazilian government’s information and complaint channel, the Fala.BR platform.
