Diogo Thomson de Andrade has been serving as Acting President of the Brazilian Competition Authority (CADE) since April 2026 and has been a Commissioner at CADE since 2023. He previously served as Assistant Superintendent at CADE for 11 years, as well as Acting Superintendent-General on two occasions (2021-2022 and 2017).
He holds a PhD in Law from the Brasília Institute for Education, Development, and Research (IDP) and a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). He has been a Federal Attorney since 2004.
