Taxi or Uber are the most efficient way to get from Airportto the Hotel Zone (15 minutes). Uber operates in Brasília, with very reasonable fares.
We recommend choosing the options “Black” or “Comfort” for a more pleasant experience. Uber “Bag” is available for occasions when you need more space for suitcases.
You will easily find taxi stands at the arrivals area. Licensed vehicles are marked with a greenand yellow stripe and the number of the car in the door. Be aware not to accept transport from unregistered persons who may be offering service at the airport. Always look for accredited transport desks at the airport.
The official language in Brazil is Portuguese. As the communication in English may be limited around the city, do not hesitate to contact Anvisa’s staff should you need any assistance.

The Brazilian currency is Real, which is rated at around 0.20 USD.
Credit and debit cards are widely accepted at restaurants and hotels. We advise you to exchange money only at the airport office, banks or at the hotel frontdesk.

Brasília is generally safe, but please avoid walking around the city alone, especially during the night.
Brazil adopts a policy of reciprocity regarding visas. This means that nationals of countries that require visas for Brazilian citizens will need a visa to travel to Brazil.
