The organisation’s high-level decision-making process. This is the responsibility of the agency’s senior management and takes the form of decisions made both on structural issues relating to the regulation of the electricity sector and on matters concerning the agency’s administration.
ANEEL’s strategic management is guided by the following tools:
- Value Chain: a tool that guides the structure of processes, linking them to the work to be carried out and the results to be achieved.
- Strategic Planning: a tool that guides ANEEL’s actions. It defines the objectives to be achieved by the Agency (strategic objectives), organisational values, indicators, initiatives and work plans.
- Regulatory Agenda: presents a list of strategic issues subject to regulation, organised into regulatory activities. In addition to forming part of ANEEL’s strategic management, the Agenda is one of the Agency’s Regulatory Instruments.
- Annual Management Plan (AMP): the Agency’s consolidated annual planning instrument, aligned with the budget, process-based management and the guidelines of the Strategic Plan.
