IPRI/FUNAG Institutional Lecture
The Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (FUNAG) and its Institute for Research in International Relations (IPRI) receive groups of students from International Relations programs and related fields for institutional lectures in Brasília, in events lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. In partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a lecture may be scheduled to be delivered by diplomats on the current landscape of Brazilian foreign policy, followed by a debate session. On this occasion, visits to the Azeredo da Silveira Library and the Itamaraty Palace may also be arranged.
The objective of this activity is to present the work carried out by FUNAG and its research units, as well as to provide students with the opportunity to get to know the facilities of the Brazilian Foreign Ministry and its bibliographic collection in Brasília, in addition to enabling direct interaction with diplomats.
To schedule the lecture, professors of International Relations or related fields should submit a request via email to ipri@funag.gov.br.
The student group must be accompanied by the requesting professor, who should provide the following information: number of participants, estimated date, preferred time for the activity, and details of the Higher Education Institution.
The IPRI team will propose a date for the lecture based on calendar availability.
Scheduling visits to the Itamaraty Palace must be done directly through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
