Organizational Structure
The National Electricity Agency has a structure in two hierarchical levels, a configuration that provides more promptness and efficiency to its decisions. The Collegiate Board of Directors is composed of one Director General and four Directors - among them the Director-Ombudsman. The Directors are appointed by the President of the Republic, after approval by the Federal Senate, for non-coincident four-year mandates.
- Organization by macro-processes
The Director General has the support of the Office, whereas the board has the structure of a direct advisory and of General Secretariat. The Attorney General, the Internal Audit and the Executive Auction Secretariat are also part of the Advisory structure and Management Control. Board decisions are also subsidized by the work of 12 technical units and support units, whose duties are established in the Internal Rules.
