In accordance with the provisions of art. 8 of Law 11182/2005 , it is incumbent upon ANAC to approve and issue crew licenses and technical qualification certificates, observing the standards and norms established in the Brazilian civil aviation regulations and evaluating the levels related to the training, improvement and specialization of the crew, in line with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

As required for the granting of licenses and / or technical qualifications, ANAC has approved a minimum aeronautical meteorology content in accordance with the standards and practices documented in Annex 1 of the Chicago Convention for the licensing of personnel.
