Code of Conduct
Committed to ensuring a pleasant experience during the Workshop, we would like to inform all participants of our Code of Conduct. To maintain a space that is safe and professional, free from discrimination and intimidation, the organizing committee states:
-
We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or offensive comments regarding gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, pregnancy and parental status, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religious (or non-religious) affiliation, politics, or any other personal characteristics.
-
We do not tolerate intimidation of any kind, personal attacks, repeated or sustained disruption of presentations, or any behavior that interferes with another participant's full involvement. Communication should be conducted respectfully, focusing critiques on ideas rather than individuals.
-
We do not tolerate sexual harassment of any kind, including unwelcome sexual attention, stalking, harassing photography or recording, inappropriate comments or messages, or the inappropriate use of nudity or sexual images in presentations.
These statements apply to the organizers, speakers, and all other participants. The organizing committee reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to any violation, including warning the offender, immediate dismissal from the workshop, or referral for potential legal action. Any violations should be reported to the LOC.
We appreciate your contribution to making this Workshop welcoming and friendly to everyone.
