Webinars of the Periodical Portal of CAPES in August/2025

INPE’s Library division discloses some Webinars promoted by CAPES that are going to take place in August. Besides the trainings that aim to present how to browse in the Periodical Portal’s content, CAPES will also promote Webinars related to other contents. In this month, the following themes are going to be presented: open access, technology transference and academy labs for the market.

The trainings are online, for free, interactive and in real time. To sign up, in case you don’t have register, access LOG IN (in the upper right side of the site) and click in REGISTER. After the registration, access with your user and password the space LOG IN. While accessing the intended training, click in Request sign up and, later, in Yes.

To participate, make your registration and wait the confirmation through email. You will receive the link for the virtual room with all orientation access and will receive the participation certificate after the training. Remembering: it is necessary to identify first in Log in to visualize the classes with open registration.

ACS Special: Discover the new functions of the CAS in CAPES Periodical Portal – a new experience in scientific and technological research

The platforms CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform™ and CAS BioFinder are going to be presented — they significantly expand the scientific search, analysis and discover possibilities in many knowledge areas.

CAS SciFinder offers a vast data bank of scientific literature and information in areas of Chemistry, Chemic and Material Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sanitary Engineering, Life Sciences, etc., facilitating the fast access to articles, patents, molecule properties, chemical reactions, retrosynthesis and biological sequences.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• After making the registration, wait the confirmation email and access the training room on the link.
• The participation certificates on the trainings are going to be available after the participants that have registered themselves to the training in advance on the site of the Portal, in “My Space”, and that sign the attendance list available during the training.
• The registrations must be done until one hour before the training.
• This certificate will be made available in 15 working days after the training.
