The Library announces: Minor book repairs workshop
From October 23rd to October 29th it is celebrated the National Book Week (SNLB), instituted by Law No. 84.631, from April 2nd of 1980. On October 29th it also celebrated the National Book Day, instituted by Law No. 51.912, from December 18th of 1966.
In this year, the Library Division (DIBIB) of INPE is going to celebrate the SNLB by promoting a Minor book repairs workshop.
The objective is to teach, in a simple way, how to restore the tome that has some damage, such as loose cover, lack of spine, tears, etc. It will be an opportunity for you to learn how to make small repairs and to clean the works without damaging them. Still, you will also know how the confection of notebooks and paper blocks is made.
We will have four day options and schedules for you to learn how to make minor repairs in books. There is going to have certificates for the participants.
Do not lose the opportunity! There are a few vacancies for class!
Choose the date and class to participate:
DAYS: October 22nd (Tuesday), 23rd (Wednesday), 24th (Thursday) or 29th (Tuesday).
SCHEDULES: from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. or from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
