LIBRARY UPDATE: Free access to Scival Platform until May 2024

Elsevier made Scival Platform available to INPE until May 31st 2024.

SciVal has a portfolio of tools for analysis of scientific literature indicators developed by Elsevier, that uses as database Scopus and Science Direct. It enables the performance of bibliometric analyzes of the scientific literature of certain institution, country, region, author or group of authors, and magazines, once the content is indexed at Scopus database.

Anyone linked to the IP address of INPE will be able to access the platform, doing the following steps.

1)      Enter the page www.scival.com

2)      In the upper right corner, select “Sign In”.

Enter the page www.scival.com

3)      Use your data from Scopus to login (the user data from Scopus can also be used for SciVal):

• User: your institutional email.
• Password: if you do not remember your password, select “Forgot my password”.

4)      In case you do not have a Scopus account, select “Create account” or “Register Now” on the home page and create your account.
