INFORMATION LIBRARY : a joint announcement from CAPES AND ACS Brazilian scientific community

The Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and the American Chemical Society (ACS) announced on February 27, 2024, that a new 5-year Read + Publish contract has been agreed upon by the two institutions. As a result, the scientific community now has full access to ACS journals, which were temporarily withdrawn.

According to the news, Brazilian researchers will be able to publish their works in ACS journals in open access format for free (Article Processing Charge - APC) after they have gone through the peer review procedure.
