Launch of the 45th issue of Cadernos do CHDD

FUNAG has made available the 45th issue of Cadernos do CHDD, a journal published by its Center for History and Diplomatic Documentation.

This edition concludes the series on Brazilian mediations in the 1930s. It delves on the final phase of Brazil's participation in the mediation of the Chaco War between Bolivia and Paraguay, carried out in the context of the Peace Conference (1935-1938), which met in Buenos Aires and put an end to the conflict. The publication also includes correspondence on the good offices that Brazil offered Venezuela and Mexico to re-establish diplomatic relations, which had been interrupted for almost ten years between 1923 and 1933.
