Launch of Cadernos do CHDD n. 47

The 47th issue of Cadernos do CHDD, a journal edited by FUNAG and its Center for History and Diplomatic Documentation, has just been published.  

This edition continues the editorial project on Brazilian diplomacy in the Plata region during the Empire era, this time focusing on the diplomatic correspondence of the diplomatic missions in Argentina for the years 1855–1856. For the 20th century, documents from the Embassy in Havana for the years 1956–1959 are published, describing and analysing the final phase of the movement leading to the Cuban Revolution and the rise of Fidel Castro.
