As part of the Bicentennial of Brazilian Independence celebrations, the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation has launched the facsimile edition of Tratados do Atlântico Sul – Portugal-Brasil, 1825-2000 [Treaties of the South Atlantic - Portugal-Brazil, 1825-2000], organized by Zília Osório de Castro, Júlio Rodrigues da Silva y Cristina Montalvão Sarmento.

Originally published in 2006, the book presents the treaties celebrated by Brazil and Portugal for nearly two centuries and the analytical contributions of researchers that seek to present the context in which these agreements were negotiated and ratified.

The book is available in Portuguese for free download on FUNAG’s digital library. The printed version is available at the Online Store.
