FUNAG launches the book “Edmundo Sussumu Fujita: the first Japanese-Brazilian in Itamaraty”

In commemoration of the 115th anniversary of Japanese immigration to Brazil, the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation published the book “Edmundo Sussumu Fujita: o primeiro nipo-brasileiro no Itamaraty” [Edmundo Sussumu Fujita: the first Japanese-Brazilian in Itamaraty], by Willians Marco de Castilho Junior.

The work presents the story of the first nikkei to join the Brazilian diplomatic career, Ambassador Edmundo Fujita, describing the obstacles and achievements during his career.
