FUNAG launches book on UN Special Political Missions

The FUNAG launched the book “The Special Political Missions of the United Nations: Evolution and Relevance for Brazil”, by diplomat Thiago Poggio Pádua.

The work, originally presented as a thesis in the Higher Studies Course (CAE) at the Rio Branco Institute, studies the increasing number of special political missions of the United Nations, how this multilateral action tool for peace and security has been evolving and its implications for the Organization and its Member States.
