FUNAG launches “Glossary of Brazilian Literature for Foreign Readers”

The Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation and the Guimarães Rosa Institute are launching the “Glossary of Brazilian Literature for Foreign Readers”, organized by professors Alexandre Pilati and Barbara Pessoa.

The work is part of the collection “Curricular proposals for Portuguese teaching abroad” and discursses fundamental themes of Brazilian literature. It consists of 40 entries referring to Brazilian culture and Portuguese language. The texts are directed primarily to foreign readers, specialized or not.
